The Conventina Apple, a big fruit with a yellow-greenish peel, rosy on the side of the sun, is typical of the Gubbio area. The name is probably due to its diffusion in convents where friars cultivated and collected it in October in view of the long winter.

Agricultural tradition tells us many different and curious ways of preservation: the fruit was laid in a case with elder flowers dehydrated in the shade, or on the straw, or even submerging the apple in loads of wheat. Because of its unique aromatic fragrance, the fruit was also placed in drawers, whereas in the kitchen, for its versatility, was eaten both raw and cooked.

If you have a color scheme in the home that is neutral and you want to add that extra touch of energy, the advice is to choose more lively colours as a combination... in this case a coloured ‘pomo’ would be just the right choice.

They come in attractive packaging, always accompanied by mouillettes (scented cards that can be customized as required) reminiscent, in shape and lettering, of old-style travel tickets.

This is a quality sensory experience enhanced by designer stoppers handcrafted by expert artisans using ancient techniques.

The designer tops used for the Maiolica Collection recall the shape of symbolic types of ancient fruit from the Umbria region: the Monteleone Pear, the Conventina Apple and the Merangola (Sour Orange). They are made of handcrafted maiolica by expert potters from Umbria using casting methods, ancient craft techniques widely employed in the local ceramic tradition, and then individually hand-finished, completed and coloured with a glassy coating.
Also applied by hand is the simple, elegantly printed logo, demonstrating the authenticity of the product.

Notes of fruity woods, berries and tobacco are released by capillary action thanks to natural reed sticks soaked in the fragrance, that fill the room with a heady perfume as well as bringing a pleasant feeling of cleanliness.

Once opened, it is advisable to turn the reed sticks upside down after the first day, and then we recommend turning them over every 2/3 weeks. The fragrance lasts about 5 months, but this varies depending on the room in which the diffuser is placed; it can scent approx. 20 square meters of room space and the intensity can be adjusted by adding or removing reed sticks.

Average shipping times in Italy are 4-6 working days from order date (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays), but these may vary due to ‘force majeure’ such as weather conditions or strikes. For countries inside and outside the EU, average times are 5 to 10 working days.

ITALIAN POSTAL SERVICES
Deliveries are carried out from Monday to Friday during normal office hours, excluding national bank holidays. The products will be delivered to the address specified at the time of order.
At the time of purchase, it is extremely important to give a current telephone number and e-mail address to enable the courier to contact you and optimise delivery procedures.
In case of absence or non-delivery at the first attempt, the service ensures a redelivery attempt on the next working day.

Italy - Shipment cost EUR 9,00 throughout Italy for orders up to EUR 150,00. For purchases over EUR 150,00, shipment is free of charge.
These tariffs are valid exclusively in Italy.
For EU countries - shipment costs are EUR 30,00.
Shipment costs via courier for the area outside the EU vary and are calculated by our customer service department that will notify the customer via e-mail or telephone.
